Shingoku LLC

We build pixel-art games for iPhone and iPad.

Shingoku is an independent studio. We make small games with hand-drawn sprites, controls that answer on the first frame, and runs that fit the time you actually have.

How we build

Three rules we hold to, because they are the ones that decide whether a small game is worth playing twice.

Sprites drawn at size

Every frame is drawn at the resolution it ships at. Nothing is vector art with a filter over it, and nothing is a large image scaled down until it looks blocky.

Built for thumbs

Input is designed for glass from the start. We do not take a controller layout, paint it onto the screen as buttons, and call the result a mobile game.

Interruptible by design

A run should fit inside a bus ride. Putting the phone down in the middle of one should never cost you the run.

Our first title

Shingoku is in production on its first game for iPhone and iPad. The games page covers what the studio is building and the standards it is being held to.

About Shingoku

Shingoku LLC is a small independent game studio founded in 2026. We work on one game at a time and finish it before starting the next.

Working with us

We read every portfolio that reaches the studio, whether or not a role is posted. Press and business enquiries reach a person who works on the game.
